Community Engagement and Communications Officer

Healthwatch Shropshire listens to people and makes sure their voices are heard. This post involves finding out the experiences of people needing or using health, public health and social care services. You will do this by engaging with a wide range of people, local community groups and networks to seek the views of everyone including those who are seldom heard to reduce the barriers they face. You will represent Healthwatch at external health and social care meetings and deliver reports. You need to be outgoing, flexible and organised. This is a public facing role and you will work out of the office for much of the time.  This post is subject to a DBS check.

The post is part time (22.5 hours per week) with a salary of £14,035 pa (based on a full-time equivalent salary of £23,080 pa).

Administrative Officer

Healthwatch Shropshire is seeking additional administrative support and is looking for a dynamic person with plenty of drive and enthusiasm who can work with a wide range of Healthwatch Shropshire contacts, both members of the public and professionals across health and social care. You need to be confident speaking on the phone and have excellent IT skills. You do not have to have a background in health or social care but you will certainly be able to demonstrate that you have the administrative skills and experience to support our team.

The post is part time (15 hours per week) with a salary of £ £7,986 (based on a full time equivalent salary of £19,698 pa).

We're looking for people to help spread the word about Healthwatch Shropshire and make people aware of who we are and what we do, so they know where they can go when they need help with their health and social care.
