Maternal Mental Health

We are really pleased to see that the Local Maternity Service has taken your views into account
Lynn Cawley, Chief Officer

Earlier in the year we carried out some research to try and discover how well new mums and dads felt their mental health was supported through and just after pregnancy (the perinatal period). We were delighted with the response we received through surveys and focus groups and grateful for the time people gave to participate.

We are really pleased to see that the Local Maternity Service has taken these views into account when developing the new Perinatal Community Mental Health Service for Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin.
