Share for Better Care Week 2026
Most people want to see health and care improve. Research from Healthwatch shows that nearly 90% of people in England want services to get better, but many people don’t always know how to share their views. Around 40% say they are unsure where to give feedback, and 19% feel they don’t have time.
That’s why Share for Better Care Week exists. By sharing your experience, good or bad, you can help highlight what is working in local services and where changes may be needed. Your feedback helps Healthwatch raise issues with decision-makers and influence improvements across the health and social care system.
Why your feedback matters in Shropshire
At Healthwatch Shropshire, we use the experiences people share with us to understand what local people are going through when accessing GP services, hospitals, pharmacies, mental health support, and social care.
The feedback we hear helps us:
- identify common problems people face when accessing care
- highlight good practice and services that are working well
- raise concerns with the organisations responsible for delivering services
- make recommendations to improve care for local communities
This year is especially important
Healthwatch Shropshire is expected to close next year. If the independent Healthwatch voice is lost locally, this may be one of the last opportunities for people to share their experiences through an independent champion for patients and service users in Shropshire.
That makes it more important than ever that local people take the opportunity to share their views.
Share your experience
Sharing your experience only takes a few minutes, but it can help shape better services for everyone.
Whether your experience was positive, negative, or somewhere in between, we want to hear from you.
Please take three minutes to share your experience here and help us make care better in Shropshire.
