Healthwatch Shropshire exists to make sure local people's experiences of health and social care are heard by those who make decisions.

The Government's proposed Health Bill includes plans that could change how public feedback on health and care services is gathered in the future. If these proposals go ahead, independent local Healthwatch services could be replaced by arrangements run directly by NHS organisations and local authorities.

We believe it is important that people continue to have access to an independent organisation that can listen to concerns, gather experiences, and speak up on behalf of local communities.
