Homeless Health Needs Survey
Welcome to the Shropshire Homeless Health Needs Audit 2018.
The purpose of this audit is to find out about the health needs of people with experience of homelessness in your local area. This data can then be used to help improve services and ensure barriers to access are removed. If you have:
- Stayed at a hostel, foyer, refuge, night shelter or B&B hotel, or any other type of homelessness service
- Stayed with friends or relatives because you had no home of own ('sofa surfed')
- Slept rough
- Applied to the council as homeless
we would like to hear from you.
This survey asks about your health needs and access to health services. It is being undertaken on behalf of Homeless Link by volunteers and members of staff at Shrewsbury Ark and Healthwatch Shropshire (HWS) with support from other partner agencies.
We will not record your name or other personal details during the audit. Any information you share with us will be anonymised and used in accordance with the conditions set out in the attached Homeless Link Information for Participants. Please ensure you have read these if you intend to take the survey.
HWS may also share anonymised information with it’s umbrella organisation, Healthwatch England, to ensure that your views and experiences are considered at a national level.
Are you currently or have you ever been homeless?
If you would prefer to take the survey as part of an interview please contact us.
