Chief Officer - Lynn Cawley

As Healthwatch Shropshire's Chief Officer I support our Board, develop and maintain our relationship with key partners and am responsible for ensuring that we deliver not only our statutory responsibilities but also our work programme for our local people.

Healthwatch Shropshire has a place on the Health and Wellbeing Board and I participate in the meetings to to represent the views of the people of Shropshire. Healthwatch Shropshire is also involved in a wide range of health and social care committees in the county and it is really important to attend so that we know what is going on and what the issues are. One of my roles is to make sure your opinions are heard by the service providers and commissioners to enable change.

I am also trained as an Authorised Representative for Enter & View visits.

Our staff

The additional part of my role, Independent Health Complaints Advocacy Service (IHCAS) coordinator, means that i work closely with our Advocate to support people who need some help with navigating the NHS complaints system.

Hannah Davies - Community Engagement Officer

As the Community Engagement Officer my role is to go out into the local community and gather people's experiences, good and not so good, of health and social care in the county.  If you would like me to attend one of your events or come along to your group to talk about the work Healthwatch Shropshire are doing to improve people’s experiences of services please contact the office.
